Dual Band WiFi/ Cellular Coexistence Applications - 2520 Band Pass Type Diplexer

Cyntec hand released a new band pass type diplexer, TDP-2520-205-W1, for WiFi dual-band applications.

This band pass type diplexer, integrating one 2GHz/ 5GHz diplexing circuit, one 2.4GHz band pass filter, and one 5GHz band pass filter, with size only 2.5mm x 2.0mm x 0.4mm, provides low insertion loss for 2.4GHz, 5GHz bands, and very high rejection for 2nd and 3rd harmonics of 802.11 b/g/n band. The benefits of applying Cyntec TDP-2520-205-W1 are space deduction for circuit boards and higher sensitivity for system electrical performances. In terms of space saving, the band pass type diplexer saves 20% area comparing to that of traditional 3 element construction. On the other hand the integrated topology gets rid of the mismatch, and interconnection losses of the traditional 3 element construction. The band pass type diplexer provide insertion about 0.25 dB lower for 2.4GHz, and 0.4dB lower for 5GHz comparing to that of traditional 3 element constructions. The lower insertion characteristics provide system with better sensitivity comparing to that of traditional 3 element construction.

Features:

1. Better Insertion Loss:
Cyntec integrated 2520 Diplexer (TDP-2520-205-W1) performs better insertion loss @Low Band (0.25dB) and @High Band (0.4~0.9dB) than discrete solution.

2. Space-saving: Size reduction 20%
